Review of 2007

2007 is leaving us in a couple of days and 2008 is just around the corner. I must say that 2007 is a fruitful year with some up and down. I have my fair share of hits and misses.

Hits

1. Learnt to wirte PHP and MySql. Managed to make good use of the skills
2. Got a chance to develop applications for the School
3. Learnt to use web framework such as Joomla and Plone. Personally, I prefer Joomla
4. Finally moving into other OS - Linux and Mac OS
5. Going to see the first batch of DBA students graduating next year. (Ya, I am excited and happy for them)
6. Holiday in Sichuan
7. I am still going strong with Yoga practice every Sunday
8. Still a happily married man with 2 kids

Misses

1. Nowhere near $1 million
2. House is still needing repair
3. Spending more time with my family
4. Helping my son with his preparation for exam

The misses seem lesser than the hits. Looks good?
