Lost in translation

Have you ever used online translation software to translate your work into other languages? It seems that it is still a long way to go before we can comfortably make use of such software.

To me, translation is more of an art and less of a science. You need to be proficient at both of the languages. What’s more, a good knowledge of its culture will add that special touch in your translation.

A word for word translation should never be considered as translation at all. The comic above is a good example.
