New Meaning for Mosquito

There is now a new meaning to the word 'mosquito'. It is an electronic device that produces a high-pitched sound which can only be heard by children and younger adults. According to The Edinburgh Journal published on 26th February 2008, as many as 3,500 Mosquitoes are estimated to be in operation across the UK to disperse children and teenagers in public areas such as parks and shopping centres.

I guessed these kids are considered 'hooligan' or trouble makers. So much so that the Establishments want to chase them away.

It may seem effective. But like the real mosquitoes, the act of chasing it away will not remove the problem. It will just move on to another place and create havoc there. And in time to come, its DNA will mutate and be immune to the device. What's next then?
